Hi, I'm Captain Mark Zorn, also known as Captain "Z". I'm an 8th generation native Floridian and have lived and fished in Citrus County for the past 29 years. I'm a member of the Homosassa Guide's Association, and charter for the Atlanta Fishing Club. I also offer private, group and family fishing charters.

I guide from a 24-foot Carolina Skiff and like to chum up the fish whenever possible. I fish up to four anglers in my boat and always strive to give my clients a day to remember. I offer light tackle flats, backcountry inshore, and near-shore guided saltwater fishing charters along Florida's Nature Coast in Crystal River and Homosassa.

Fishing Charters / Rates & Options
Scalloping Trips

You will enjoy fishing from my custom rigged 24' Carolina Skiff. It has an open hull design, moveable fishing chairs, and comfortably fishes four anglers. Additional boats guided by professional and experienced captains can also be arranged if needed for larger family outings and corporate groups.

My boat is powered by a 115 HP Yamaha outboard motor, and is equipped with a bow mounted trolling motor and polling platform for stealth approach.

The flat bottom and shallow draft provide a stable fishing platform from which to fight the bull redfish and gator trout that are often caught....

Another benefit of my boat's design is that I am able to run the skinny water and get into the backcountry where the fish try to hide !

IF YOU'RE NOT AN AVID ANGLER, then you may like to spend part of your day enjoying a nature tour of either Crystal River or Homosassa. Cruising around the rivers and flats taking in the scenery and many species of wildlife that inhabit the surrounding coastal islands and grass marshes. And for the bird-watchers, If you're lucky you may spot one of the American Bald Eagles that nest along the river. Many species of other birds including the Great Blue Heron may also been observed. Dolphins and the endangered West Indian Manatee are also regular inhabitants of the coastal waters.

Families and children are always welcome. In fact, I encourage parents to get their young ones out on the water and give them the opportunity to develop an appreciation for the sport of fishing.

WHAT'S INCLUDED: Fishing charters include all the necessary licenses, tackle, live bait, ice, and the fish are cleaned and bagged at the end of the day. You also have the advantage of the services of a professional guide.

WHAT TO BRING: Be sure to bring any food and beverages you will want for the day. A good pair of polarized sunglasses are also recommended, along with sunscreen, a hat and long sleeved shirt to protect you from the sun.

RATES & OPTIONS:
Full Day: 1-2 People $400.00
Half Day: 1-2 People $300.00
Add $50 for each additional person over 2 up to a max. of 4 per boat

SHORE LUNCH: $50 minimum per boat
