Hi !  I'm Captain Mark Zorn ( Capt "Z" ).  I'm a 7th generation Native Floridian, and have lived and fished in Florida all of my life.  For the past 27 years, I've been fortunate enough to live and enjoyed fishing in Crystal River and the Homosassa River.  I'm a member of The Homosassa Fishing Guides Association, and am also privileged to fish for the Atlanta Fishing Club out of Homosassa. 

Both Crystal River and the Homosassa River are situated in Citrus County, one of the favorite fishing hot-spots in North Central Florida.   Each  river is spring-fed and flows into the Gulf to Mexico, providing it's own unique fishing experience. 

While fishing in Crystal River, you will see that the grass flats of Crystal River are home to many species of which you can expect to catch Speckled Trout, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel and many others.  RedFish are a regular inhabitant of the oyster bars as well as Pompano and other crustacean feeding species.

The Homosassa River hosts a teaming fishery of Redfish and Speckled Trout.  And, while fishing in Homosassa you may see the endangered West Indian Manatee that makes the Homosassa river it's home during the cold months.  The rocky limestone bottom of the flats are the perfect habitat for the "gator" Speckled Trout and giant "bull" Redfish, along with many other species.

Whether you're an avid angler or just a beginner and what to experience the thrill of you're first catch- you're sure to enjoy the great fishing that the rivers and flats of Crystal River and Homosassa have to offer.

Or- if you're not up to a full day of fishing, you may want to spend part of your trip cruising around the waters of Crystal River or Homosassa- taking in the sights that Mother Nature has to offer, including the West Indian Manatee and many species of shore birds and wildlife that is often sighted along the rivers.  

Group fishing charters available with licensed and experienced guides.   You can fish a full 8 hour day dock to dock, or you may choose to fish just a half of the day.  Shore lunches are also available, which include your fresh catch of the day cooked by your captain and served along with hushpuppies and all the fixins.
